The atmosphere at IHOP is gripping in that weak and broken people are meeting before a God of blazing affection to offer their lives as a living sacrifice of searching after the one they love and giving everything to complete obedience and the first commandment to love God with everything inside and outside. There is a generation that are hurling themselves into a Holy Spirit assisted mission to follow hard after Jesus whatever the cost. The International House of Prayer Room has 24/7 worship going all of the time - that's 84 two hour sessions with teams seamlessly swopping over shifts and causing continuous worship along with the prayers offered - night and day, month in and out, year in and out. This has been continuing now for ten years. Its a divine catalyst and a sovereign set up that no man can claim its success. God is breathing on this sacred space for powerful reasons. It is launch pad for a youth movement and a partnership with Jesus, the brilliant God-man who is looking for friends in this final hour of human history. I would encourage you to visit IHOP but also recognise that that this is a global prayer movement. Sometimes its just a handful giving themselves to many hours of intercession in some outback yet they stir up intimate vibrant worship and faithfulness. Sometimes its a large gathering in a city filled with the swell of human business - where they break open heaven with prayer and see revival burst out in the most desperate dark places. But this is the stuff of the heart. It is a Onething deal - Psalm 27:4. If all you are is a man or woman or child surrounded by sheep and yet God has called you to pray with fervency - then it counts big time that you resolve to be a voice like John the Baptist crying out in the wilderness - GET READY GET READY. God is drawing together fires of hot hearts after His will who will stand and pray and hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. This is wisdom. It is a pursuit and knowing of God. And these ones in the video are after that goal - to be close to the Bridegroom, Saviour King and Judge. No wonder they are so passionate and set. They have a vision to be doing this until they see Jesus face to face - then it will all be worth it.
